(((Help)) last transmission
Damn I hate transmission's!!!
This is my "7th" tranny hope to be last one so Im buying everything new starting from tranny to damn trans cooler.If you guys could please help on my last one. At time there Th350 swap but want to go back with 4L60 due to it sucks on expressway drive to track.Want to use Yank converter? what best set up I would be spraying up 250 shot sometimes, for sure 150 all time an 200 every other night.1994 firebird ..
What numbers are you guys running on 4L60

I'm on #7 myself... I ended up going with a built 65E from FLT... its behind a Yank converter as well... look them up, maybe they fit your application better??

Lost my first tranny on friday after turnin a 12.2 1/4 (3rd run of the night). no more 3-4th gear. I have shopped around and am seriosly looking at the level 2 4l60 from perfomabuilt. It appears to be a solid product by description, warrenty and price wise they beat most other vendors. experience with others on the board seems to be good. A rebuild for me will only just buy me a little more time. I think I want to prevent the tranny revolving door syndrome,lol. Good luck, as for me it appears that a level 2 is in my cars future!

Why not a 4l80, if you have gone through more then 1? Maybe thats the road you want to take, it will pay for itself. Not to mention install time. Time is money.

On 4L60 thing was running nitrous it would over rev off hole,but on street run off roll it would work perfect. So I went with TC 700R4 Tranny got in to 12.0 on motor 100 shot nitrous went 11.30 at 126 mph same **** from before was using 3200 Vag cov. So now Iam LOOKING for TRANNY I could drive to track an take out for weekend drive,Race an spray **** out of it!

You absolutely can put an 80 behind a lt1. We are doing one for a 1200rwhp car here in the next couple of weeks. As far as doing a 4l60e I guess the big question is what failures have you been having? Also what rwhp #'s are you running with and without the spray? Are you spraying through the shifts or using a window switch? These are all questions that I have.
