Question Any LSX together yet?

what size?
what kind of issues did you have?
what kind of power?
ect ect ect.

im dropping mine off in about 2 hours to the machine shop. hoping to get it back wednesday/thursday then drop everything off at the balancer and star puting it together next week.

just wondering if any issues i should look out for?

What heads and intake are you using? What about cam and headers too?

im running a ported fast, afr 225, custm grind cam. 24x 62x 110

and kooks 1 7/8 to 2" step headers with custom 3 1/2" exhaust

Hmmmm...great question. I am in process with mine and am REALLY curious as to what kind of numbers to expect at the flywheel....

Parts as in?....

466CID
Diamond pistons
Callies rods
Callies Crank
Not sure about the rings yet....Nitrous....400 shot
I'm still deciding on Hydraulic or Solid for the cam

Looking for 1000fwhp (more would be great!!) with the spray.....

damn, depending on cam specs and heads id say 600 on motor for sure!!
good luck. when will this be going together?

I'm hoping it will be coming together in the next month.....Depends on how soon we can get parts....My Engine builder thinks we can get 700+ out of it.....I'm hoping he is right!!

so am i going to be the first?? WTF some one has to be done soon.

600-650 at the wheels should be for sure. the right heads cam will push it way up

I am building one as well it will be about a month before complete, Its a 451CI I will be using Dart heads for now they will be fitted with 2.100 intake valves to try and get the motor by till i can build the bank back up for the 23bolted ET heads.

I have one built here with my Diamond boost pistons for my race C5 It probably won't startup for a couple weeks though

wow, everyone is going big. im only going 427. it will be cool to see what makes what power.
my cam and heads will hold me back a bit as will the fast intake. but we'll see.

I am with you my block is being machined as we speak. I will be staying with a 427. We got a real good selection of rings at 4.125 and some room to take her out a bit if we hurt it. I must say the block is very impressive.
