Question Any Cadillac dealers here?

Anyone have connections with, or know of a good Caddy dealer in the Houston or Texas areas? I'd consider DFW, Austin, San Antonio etc... also. Looking for dealers that will sell at invoice minus rebates.

I'm not ready to buy today, but would like to begin shopping with the right dealer(s). Thinking of an Escalade EXT.

Oh snap!

I saw you and the wife on Sunday. You were at Blackhawk and 2351 heading towards 45. I was in Matt's truck with my 4wheeler in the bed. Tried to honk but we had already passed before it clicked who it was. Truck looks bad ***.

Why do dealerships sell cars at invoice - rebates. Makin only HB on a car aint enough to do **** with it. lol. Not to mention that the reason the resale of those cars is what it is, is because of the way they ***** them out.

Why do they sell them at invoice? Because some dealers rely on quantity sales bonuses, not individual item profit. They know that if they do not sell the vehicle to a serious buyer, they lose another sale. Some other dealer will take the sale from them no problem.

Holdback on a $64K vehicle is pretty good profit for just signing a few documents. At 3% that would still be $1920 in less than an hour of work.

How do you figure holdback at 3%?

Not to mention floor plan interest the dealer pays on vehicles on the lot over X number of days... On slower moving units, the dealerships will jump at the chance to unload at invoice.

It varies by brand. You work at a dealership, what is holdback there? Supposedly, the American owned brands have higher holdback than import brands.

Not 3%. LOL

American's have larger mark-ups, no doubt. Thats why when then give them bitches away, they're resale market gets crushed.

Don't you have an employee discount program through your work? My currant, and last employer did and the price usually is below invoice and then you subtract the rebates. Good luck.

call ron carter toyota and ask for michael nichols... he is a good friend of mine and has known the GM of the Hummer/Caddy store for a long time. he can probably get you hooked up with the right salesman over there to get what you are looking for.

i work at a Cadillac dealership, not for them though. Plus from what i've heard the dealership doesn't offer rebates or anything like that. The main reason is because most of the customers there pay for there cars in cash.

Don't forget. Dealers have these big buildings in the back of them called service departments and they charge about $90/hr.
Don't dealers also make some good money on used car sales?
