Default abs inop

My abs inop light is on, when i check it it says c0036 Left rear Tone wheel

What does it mean?

Check the sensor at that wheel.

Where is the sensor located and what does tone wheel mean?

I'm not completely sure, but it should be behind the rotor (you may be able to see it looking at the back of the wheel assembly without actually removing it from the car). If I remember correctly, the tone wheel is a toothed wheel (like a large gear) which the sensor reads. Typically there isn't anything wrong with it, but the sensor or may have some grime build up causing a bad reading. I'm going from memory here since I've never looked for it on a f-body.

also check/ clean the bulkhead connector going to the rear end. i had one plug come out after a dyno run

The tone wheel is known on these boards as the reluctor gears. It is the gear that alters the sensors signal frequency.
