Sorry I couldn't find the answer i wanted in the Search.
I have a 01 Formula with a vig 3200 stall. I have installed the aeroforce scan gauge. On the way home from work i noticed that my trans temp started to clim on the highway. Doing about 60 MPH. By the time i got off, my scan gauge read 250* while my coolant temp was about 200*. I have the B&M trans cooler inline with my rad trans cooler. Its never gotten this hot. What do you guy think?

well first i would check the trand fluid level.
my trans was running hot too, turned out i had a bad 1-2 shift sol.
is it shifting ok?

Is your converter clutch engaging ?

Sounds like your converter might not be locking up. I had the same issue with my old converter when I burnt up the lockup clutch. I would see aroun 225* or so.

I live in Palatine Illinois. The converter locks up on the high way but otherwise it seems to be very laggy than before. I have my license plate mounted on the air "sheld" and it was bent due to have the car toed. i bent the plate back. I notice before that if i was at 200* coolant the trans would be around 210* but today i got scared because my tran temp gauge read about 250. The trans gauge uses the obd2 sensor already in the car. I have another trans cooler not a B&M but tomarrow i will put it in series with the B&M. The trans fluid doesn't look burnt. But kind of smells like celery. I know weird, what can i say food is alway on my mind. If my converter is bad can i send it back to vig.

Today i drove it, The conveter seems to lock up. On the highway i was doing ~60mph and doing 2000rpm. By the time i got off my trans temp seemed to stay aroun 219-220*. With the coolant temp about 190* The car shifts alright doesn't slip or anything. Then again it was about a 40* weather difference from the other day i drove it. The fluid is cherry red. Do you guys think if i were to put another cooler in line and fan my B&M the tran temps would be about 20* cooler. Sorry, i don't know much about auto transmission. I appreciate any input?

Today i jacked the car up and saw tranny fluid all around the bell housing. Im thinking input shaft seal, Whats weird is my fluid is cherry red and doesn't smell burnt. Also i the trans fluid is full, A little over hot, by .25 maybe less. Would this cause the trans to overheat?

leaky front pump seal most likely caused by the overheating. a transmission that is over filled by the amount you are telling us wouldnt be the source of the overheating problem.
