transmission is slipping...
my transmission has started to slip a lot lately, and i think it's time for a rebuild. stock 4l60e with full bolt-on's. the car has 106k on it. where can i find a good shop to get a rebuild and how much am i looking at? or if i wanted to go with a stock T-56, how much would that swap run me? thanks!

me and my buddy do transmissions at a local gm dealership, we do them on the side as well, we can do a stock rebuild or a rebuild suited for what you have done to your car, he has over 17 years exp, i got about 2.5....either way ours are done quick and right the first time, usually a 1-3 day turnaround installed and overhauled we have done some really sturdy ones with every piece upgraded that handle high hosrepower, remember that when it comes to transmissions the sooner the better, the longer you wait the more damage you are potentially causing, let me know, i also reamber you need a window motor if you still need it we can still knock it out as well... let me know, fernando

IN any shop anywhere you cant get a warranty on high profromance, we guarrantee our to work, wether they live thorugh the abuse put on them is your thing but they are built to last, all quality parts used, and we go and offer a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty, who else can match that?

My transmission took a dump a couple weeks ago while I was visiting my bf in Garland. We took it over to Rowlett Transmissions in Rowlett. He was recommended to me by my bf's friend who has had all of his transmissions rebuilt there. I dropped my car off tuesday at 1 and picked it up at 5 on thurs. Very decent in cost and great work.
