F'ing Thieves!
Like a dumbass, I got up and left my new PDA sitting on the table at Carraba's last night. I circled back and within 10 minutes the phone was long gone. I called it over and over from another phone and someone eventually answered it but didnt say anything. Well, I called Cingular and had it disconnected and they said that if anyone tried to reactivate the phone that they could catch them. It still doesnt help me get back all my contacts!
I hate f***ing thieves! It makes me want to choke the **** out of someone!

I totally understand Randy, just went through the same f***ing **** myself last week. I was at a truck stop (finishing my am shower) and left my phone in the shower room. I know it was only about 5 or 6 minutes and didn't even really trip thinking it would be there. It was obviously gone and yea I had to go through the whole cutting my service getting a new phone etc. The thing that really irked me the most is I'm a truck driver and rely on my cell phone. I had no way of getting in contact with my company and receiver to update them and lost three hours (pay phone calls) calling t mobile reactivating service, finding a t mobile store while pulling a 53 footer parking almost a half a mile away, reactivating service, then buying a new phone, finally getting back in contact with my company who was totally upset. Fact is I actually lost my load leaving out that evening b/c I was so far behind schedule. Eventually cost my job but I'm getting on with us express. So I feel your pain. They all need to be castrated, raped, and left on a Texas ant hill with honey poured over em. F***ing loser *** sorry turds get a real job and have some damn dignity.

Same thing happened to my brother. The guy that stole it went to reactivate it and t-mobile wouldn't give it back to him. When they gave it back to my brother, all the contacts were deleted and the guy had downloaded about 20 rap songs before my brother was able to report it missing. T-mobile paid for them though. Good luck finding that shitface.

I am most pissed cuz I just got it! My last PDA drowned in my uncle's pool two weeks ago when my son fell in and I had to jump in after him. The damn thing cost me 500 with signing a new contract and Cingular doesnt offer insurance on the PDA's. It's like buying a Lambo and not being able to get insurance on it cuz its expensive. Thank God I still have another phone laying around so I dont have to go buy another one today. Just have to get my old SIM card reactivated.

You know, you hear all the stories about how New York has so much crime, but both my g/f and my grandmother have gone, and left there purse somewhere in the city. Someone turned my grandmothers into the police station, and my g/f's was still sitting in the bathroom in central park where she forgot it. Nothing missing out of either. Makes me wonder about TX and all the sorry *** thieves we have.

Oh yea, but in my case my phone was the same one I got when I relocated here from Northern California back in June '05 (lol). I just don't get it. I would never think to stel anything anyway let alone a phone rather it's a freebee or pda/blackberry.

True that bro, but like I said in my case (Memphis Tn) I'm willing to bet my life it was a tweaker or crack head. I was at a truck stop (Loves) pretty far cry from an upscale Italian resturant. That really blows too b/c you would think at an enviornment like that it should be a lot less likely to happen.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck Randy.
Just keep up with your device and you shouldn't have any worries. Buy a pouch or holster for the phone and just keep it in there if you're not using it.
