Chris and the guys over there put in a LOT of extra time on things there. With my brothers car they have gone way out of their way just to make sure everything was perfect.

Grats btw Craig!

I had FLP's with a custom 3" y-pipe that Mike Pabone made when he worked there at MTI.

I don't have a dyno sheet otherwise I would have posted it, kind of a mad rush crazy day for everybody.

When my SS got there is was strapped down and dyno'ed right away. From what I gather it was down a hair to 535rwhp, and after the Kooks it made like 551-552rwhp.

Peace,
Craig.

I just have to ask, are you still running the same 3" y-pipe? Or is it a different (bigger) y-pipe? Or did you go to duals?

Sorry to keep prying, I'm just curious..

BTW, nice gain for just a header change..

No problem, and thanks.

No, I am now running the Kooks 3" y-pipe that comes with the Kooks headers (optional). There is no way for my 3" custom y-pipe to fit Kooks without some fabrication. My 3" custom y-pipe was made to fit my FLP's V-band clamp.
No true duals, nor would I ever, I have a Borla-Mouth.

Peace,
Craig.

Nice to see MTI comin' through. I got turned down by MTI when I called for tuning a year ago or so, because my car was swapped from a V6 to the LS1. Told me they didn't wanna deal with it, so I ended up going elsewhere. Funny thing is, the other shop sort of scratched their heads when I explained the situation, plugged their tuning software in, and tuned away. Why I was turned away from MTI, I'm still not real sure. Nice to see they step it up for some people, though.
