Default Cleaning Chrome exhaust tips

Man these things get dirty quick. What do you guys use to clean them?

+1 for mothers polish. If they're REAL nasty, a wet SOS pad works wonders on neglected chrome.

Soap and water, I use turtle wax chrome polish on my wheels. Stuff worked great on my tips which were stained black. Might also try some very fine steel wool with soap and water, I know this works wonders on grimey painted wheels with baked in brake dust.

I use steel wool on my Corsa clones. Works like a charm! Just be sure to use the 0000 grade steel wool because thats the finest there is.

i've used meguiar's nxt all metal polish and it works just fine on my corsa's.

If you don't have cats anymore then the faceted edge on your corsa clones will get sooty after just a few drives...

All you can do is wipe it clean before or after every drive. Cheap chrome polish from AutoZone is good to use when wrapping up every car wash session.
