Default 853 head to flycut when using 243 heads

Can anyone confirm that I'll be okay using a 853 head to flycut my pistons when I'll be using 243 heads? They have the same valve angle and everything right?

Thanks!

I'm thinking that the 243, 241, and 853 all have the same valve angles. I guess I'll just have to test it with a piece of clay. Someones tested this before though I hope....

All 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, and 6.0 heads have the same basic geometry. I used a different casting cylinder head for flycutting than what I am running on my engine. No problems.

Ditto on what Marc just posted. You could use an iron 6.0l head or a 806 head from a '98 car.

Default Rocker Pedestal = same

The rocker pedestal is the same for all the LS1/6 heads. This would make valve spacing the same.

L92's are different, with the 2.16 intake valve.
