now it looks baddass. now if i may, the "GTO" thing below the rear bumper would look badass filled in and maybe satin black with "CV8" in the body color or something. awesome rides as usual :drive:

Yup, looks awesome, I wonder what he is going to do about the back bumper and the inserts in the seats still saying GTO?

That's just what I was thinking. Kinda throws it all off, but otherwise looks just awsome!

The lines on that car remind me a little of a BMW in some ways. I love the color. What's that called?

Brazen Orange Metallic, only available in 2006.

I like the color and the car, but I don't understand everyone obsession with converting the GTO to look like a Monaro??? Both of them look nice, is it just to have something different?

Are those wheel centers "Hyper Black" or "Hyper Silver"? I had been going back and forth between one of the painted centers or chrome...i've decided I want whatever that color is!

They are hyper-black. They have a light gray tint to them, but the coating appears transparent.

Excellent thanks!

I"ll probably be looking to get the 278s because I like that design better, but the Hyperblack looks great. Nice car.

It def. looks great. The Brazen Orange and Spice Red are my favorite 2006 GTO colors. A lot of people do the Monaro swap, I personally like how it looks stock. Honestly I liked my Z28 but I love my GTO. Yes it is heavier, but its got a lot of perks about it. I was looking into 01 and 02 F-bodies after I sold my 97 Z28, and happened to take a test drive in an 05 GTO. I instantly made up my mind to get a GTO, and ended up finding a used 06 at a great price. If anyone is on the fence, test drive one or just buy it, you won't be dissapointed. Now if you are like Tony, and can have both, you are in great shape!

Oh one more thing about the APS kit because I believe they are in the process of releasing a kit for the F-body. This kit is probably the absolute best engineered TT kit I have ever seen. When installed it looks extremely clean, almost stock and the numbers it produces are insane. For the price, there is not a better kit out there. There is one GTO here in Las Vegas making over 700 rwhp on the stock LS2 short block. Granted, thats at about 16 psi, and will eventually blow, but the owner has a nice forged LS2 in the works, so no worries. Just wanted to give APS the recognition they deserve incase anyone is planning on buying their TT kit.

We are only shooting for 500-550 reliable rwhp on this car with the APS kit. The car is a daily-driver, and I'm not wanting to get into replacing drivetrain parts on it. 500-550 is more than enough to hurt some feelings on the highways :)

You will reach that goal with NP on the APS kit. That would prolly only be on 7 or 8 psi and without any methanol injection. If I had the cash, I would have a kit!

I like this one, quote from Nineball :

....want the hassles of loping cams, surging low rpm drivability, or loud exhausts and rattles. The car is flat out nice to drive, now it is even quick too.

That says it all, thats also what I like in having a car

Yes. Remember that the GTO is based on the Monaro, so Pontiac just slapped badges into holes that already existed.

Sorry I should have asked the qeustion better

So you need a Hold front bumper, and fog lights corret?

And as far as the emblems? Do they fit the ponitc location

Or did you have to use filler and shave off old holes to cover up were the new emblems go..

Holden bumper and grille, Holden foglights, Holden side turn-signals on the fenders. The Pontiac and GTO emblems were replaced by Holden emblems that fit in the exact same holes. No filler or shaving required.
