Default Its time for me to finally decide on a cam

I mean I have all supporting mods.

I have a full exhaust, my car already ha s a LS6 intake. I have a moser 12 bolt with 3.73s. I have the suspension to support more power and tires and breake pads, etc...

Now I must decide on a cam. I have a made a few threads and decidedd to go with the TSP torquer v3. the only thing keeping me back now is the money, but Ive done everything else to have it.

when I get the torquer 3 Im going with 5.3 stage 2.5 heads and I was wondering with my gearing if the cam would drive like stock for lower RPMs and be a beast @ High RPMs. My gial was to hit 450 RWHP, even with those heads I dont think Ill be seeing those numbers. but I do want at least over 430+ RWHP. I also do have an underdrive pulley 25% and I will be porting my Throttlebody and probably get a bigger MAF.

what do you guys think?

No need for a MAF change. Torquer is a good cam, so is the f13 and 228/230 Comp.

The Torquer V3 is an outstanding cam that should get you to your power goals, but keep in mind, even with the best tuning around, it's never going to idle and run like stock in the lower rpm. Granted, you can get it to run very well with the proper tune, but you would never be able to fool anyone who drove the car that it had a stock cam in it.

I know it wont idle like stock, but will I have similar low RPM characteristics? Like If I shift @ 1500-2000 RPMs when I first warm up the car in the morning, will I lag more with the Torquer3?
