Default Cam choice L92/427ci?

I'm building a N/A 427 with L92 L76 ported heads and intake 11:1 compression, will shift the car at 6500rpm. I want the car to have a nasty idle - but still maintain some street manners.

It seems to achieve this while maintaining low end torque is a cam with smaller intake duration and big exhaust with a tight lsa.

Any suggestions on what cam specs that might work well on the this new setup would be appreciated.

that is a very small cam for that large of an engine, IMO. LG has been having good results with L92 L76 combos, you may want to check them out.

Something around a 244/250 will have a nice lope and be perfectly streetable.

I am quite happy with my XE-R 230/242 115. It idles with a lope at 950 and drives almost as good as stock.
