Default issues with my 02ta

I was at the track last weekend and i was making my run well after passing the quarter mile marker id take the car out of gear and brake but when i would bring the clutch back up to disengage it, it felt like it was catching halfway and not releasing. if i pumped the clutch a few times it would go away. ive been told that it could be my throw out bearing or pilot bearing. i was thinking more along the lines of a bad pressure plate. any ideas as to what it is. btw the car is not leaking any fluids.

If you have to pump the pedal up thats the indicator of hydraulic issues.
might need to flush the fluid/ drill mod I'd start there. Has any clutch work been done ever?

well i cant be certain but i bought the car earlier this year and it only had 8600 miles on it so i dont really see very probable. is there a link to the drill mod thread/directions?
