Burning of the Bricks - June 10 - Pampa, Tx Just letting all my fellow Texans and people around the Tx Panhandle know about the "Burning of the Bricks" on June 10 in Pampa, Tx (1 hour NE of Amarillo). Basically it's a cruise around the whole weekend w/ the drags going on @ the airport. There will be a tree, but no slips. 9-12 will be a free f'rall, w/ anyone and everyone racing, and @ 1, the eliminations begin. I think the entry is $20, others include a burnout contest, best sounding exhaust, nicest car, etc. etc. See you guys out there.

That's my hometown and I'll be making the trip. It should be pretty fun, I went to it a couple years back, I think this is the third annual.
We should have a LS1tech group meeting sometime during the weekend.
If anyone needs an entry form, let me know and I can get you a copy; or call Denver Bruner at 806-665-8783
$15 for the car show Saturday, judging from 10-2, trophies at 3
FREE Burnout competition Saturday, registration 10-2, starts at 11
$10 for the cruise Saturday night 6-8:30. It's downtown, on the original brick streets, it's very cool.
$20 for drag racing on Sunday(need and entry form for this) 9-12 everyone, elims start at 1. Must have helmet, all lug nuts, radiator overflow, battery hold down and seatbelts.

Like I said earlier, an LS1tech meet would be pretty sweet. What are everyone's name that will be there, so I don't have to come up to someone and say, hey TexZ, porksoda, etc., etc. Mine's James.

Well my name is Kevin. I'm gonna try and find someone downtown that would maybe "sponsor" a meeting place for our LS1tech meet, that way we won't get kicked out, that way we would have a place if we wanted to meet up before the cruise or something on Saturday afternoon/evening.
