Hi, i found a whistler radar detecter. The model number is 1743. I dont know how to get it to work. Is it supposed to have a cord to plug in you cigarette lighter. If so, where can i get that. Thanks a lot, Rob

You found a radar detector? Where...on a car's windshield?

That model uses 12V power like most Whistler models. You can either get a cigarette lighter adapter or a hard-wire kit. Both are available online or you can get them at your local Radio Shack.

The manual is also available here: http://www.whistler-radar.com/man.php
