Your EGR valve might be stuck open, causing an overly rich condition at low rpm. My car acted the same way when the EGR valve died, and I promptly ripped the whole system off.

Just take the egr off and plug up all the holes. The car will throw a ses light, just go to a tune shop and they can remove it from your computer.

Yep, you'll just need block off plates for the passenger exhaust manifold/header and a freeze plug for the intake. Your SES light will turn on until you have the trouble codes tuned out, but it won't negatively affect the performance of the car. Really cleans up that side of the motor.

now if do i really need to buy the whole system,,if so ill buy it off 3800RS, but if the car doesnt need it i might just rip it off...you get it!....does anyone know of a website that shows you how to do it...or a step by step process..if so let me know............so the egr can be whats causing my car to hesitate, sputter, vibrate...99 formula 86,000 miles...maybe?

take the egr off and see if it is sticking.

i had the same exact problem, but theres no way im going to pay $200 for an egr, i just drive it with the SES light on.

i cleaned my egr out many times, but i guess im not getting it good enough because it keeps throwing the code
