Re: Serial port connector The best USB->Serial port adaptor for LS1Edit/Autotap/EFILive is the Keyspan unit. They are the only retail manufacturer that seems to understand the issues that exist between USB timing and apps that are expecting true serial ports. You should be able to find them at CompUSA. If not, look around online.
The best solution technically is to obtain a PCMCIA card that provides a serial port but unless you get a rugedized cable that is molded into the card casing you will very likely break the connector sooner or later.
