Default Car sits 2-3 weeks at a time - bad?

I travel a lot and sometimes my H/C car sits for two or three weeks at a time.

Is this bad for the double spring life?

Yes. Your car will blow up in the near future. Sorry

Don't worry. I work around alot of Marine V8's and they are stored for up to and beyond 6 months at a time. Many are big hp solid roller motors with twice the spring pressure your engine has.

i would also say that you will probably be fine just let the engine warm up completely before taking it for a drive. and dont rev the hell out of the motor trying to get it to warm up faster.

it wont have any ill effects. however, remember one thing!

performance springs are very brittle when they are cold, so dont be revving it up until you hit operating temp. if you do that, it will sit in storage for as long as you need and be just fine
