Default LS7 Clutch

I acquired a complete T-56 setup to convert my A4. I was told the LS7 clutch, pressure plate/LS7 flywheel all have around 5000 miles on them. The clutch looks to be in really good shape except the inner springs. 2 of the 4 inner springs (the yellow springs) rattle pretty good. They seem really loose inside the bigger outer springs. I have never dealt with dual spring clutches and have no idea if this is normal or not. I would like to use this clutch but will buy new if I have to. Feedback please.

The LS6 clutch and pressure plate are not compatible with the LS7 flywheel. Post some pics so we can see what you have.

My bad, that is a typo. I have the title right. I def. have an LS7 clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. I just need to know about the springs in the clutch.

I just checked my brand new LS7 clutch plate and the yellow springs are loose and rattle around inside the outer springs. My guess is that this is normal.

Anyone know why this is? Mine just arrived from SDPC today, and when I picked up the disc, I was quite surprised by the rattle of one pair of inner springs!

I am not sure what they do. But maybe they are loaded up when the clutch is spinning. Mine makes no noise on the car or while driving so I would not worry about it.
