Default racing stripes...not like other threads

i love the way racing stripes look on cars...BUT i hate the look where they come down to the tip of the hood then stop like on most T/A or formulas. anyone ever tried to make the stripes go all the way down to the bottom of the car? photoshop would be useful but my computer can't handle it for whatever reason. i have thought about doing this many many times...what do you guys think?

I feel the same way, especially with the new 'Stangs which have stripes that stop at the trunk line. I don't know if that's a dealer or factory option, but they ought to flow the stripe down the entire rear and front ends!

exactly! i got a pic of a shelby where the stripes go all the way down and it looks MUCH better. just like a viper would have. even on a corvette if your gonna do racing stripes make them suckers go all the way down. i want to do it on my car sooo bad but if it's not done just right it could totally mees up the look.

honestly, i dont like it when the striped go all the way. it looks unoriginal if that makes sense. it seems to flow better with the lines of the car if they stop in a creative way like what vendettav6 did.

i guess its all a matter of opinion. if you do it then do it how youd like.

werd. stripes just don't look right (ESPECIALLY on Fbods) when they go all the way down. I like the way that red bird's done. Looks clean.
