Im looking to get a cam for my 02 SS. I drive it every day but i dont mind a sick sounding idle at all...in fact im looking forward to it. The car has QTP longtubes, TSP true duals w/bullets, & SLP lid now and soon to be a FAST 90/90 setup. So my question is what cam could i get to put me near 450rwhp with these mods and a good tune and still be able to drive it every day?? I was thinking the TSP V3, any opinions?

im going with the TSP 228R. I duno if you will hit 450rwhp with it, but they advertise 35-40rwhp gains with it.

I daily drive my 98 M6 TorquerV3. The car is cam only with longtubes and full exhaust. I love it. It is currently sitting at my tuners shop getting a good drivablility tune. I drove it for about 3 weeks with a wide open tune only but it was still not very bad on the street. I was having some problems with knock retard when it was originally tuned, so the numbers were kind of low. With full knock retard, it put down 378/367, but this is still with a stock throttle body, ls1 intake, and stock 98 perimeter bolt heads. This is also through a 12 bolt with 4.10's. Knock retard is fixed now so new numbers will be updated when i get the car back.

I daily drive my torquer v3. As long as the tune is good, you shouldnt have any problem daily driving it.

with good tune and u dont mind the lopping/chopping sound it'll make, you'll love it....
