Power surge I have a 97 SS and every time i drive my cd player will cut out and cut back in like 2 seconds later. The whole things just turns off, i have my radar detector attached to the power wires to the radio and it turns off too. Most of the time it comes back after a couple of seconds. But yesterday it stayed off for 5 minutes before it came back on. I can turn the car off and restart it then the radio works again but that is if it stays off for awhile. And sometimes when i park my car and i turn it off the power to the radio and windows is gone. When its supposed to say on until i open my door. Any suggestions.
