Default PanHard Bar bolt size?

Anybody know what size bolts go in the panhard bar on the rearend side?

The stock bolt has a shoulder. So, it's not a one size bolt.

SHoulder meaning tapered? Maybe they sell new bolts with aftermarket panhard bars and i can just order on of those?

yeah, if you're buying a replacement PHR, just order whatever optional installation hardware package they have available and be done with it....that way you know for sure you have the right size

Be careful.

The aftermarket hardware probably requires you to drill out the body and axle mounts.

This locks you into the aftermarket. You can never go back to stock.

Shouldered meaning that the hex end has a larger OD shoulder that goes in only one way, and the threaded end is a smaller OD. The shoulder is probably about .025-.030" larger than the other end.

it wasn't that way on my torque arm hardware that i got fom UMI.....no drilling required. don't know if it's different for the PHR, but if it is, i would look at a different brand.

the UMI one re-uses the stock hardware, and i'm happy with the products i've bought from them so far, so i'll be sticking with them for my suspension needs
