radiator hoses in 1st gen Anybody use the stock-type 69 radiator with their ls swap? I cant find radiator hoses that fit. Any suggestions. Last thing before first start so im kind of getting anxious.

We are using the 02 radiator in our 67. We haven't tried our hoses yet. I don't know what you would use with the first gen radiator. I would suggest you make a coathanger template and spend a bit of time at Napa....

I'm using a '68 radiator and '68-length flex hoses from VatoZone in mine right now. I need to redo the hoses--they're pretty nasty looking, a little too big on the LS1 side, and the lower hose is in danger of kinking.

I used a '05 tahoe upper hose and just cut it down. If you get the lower rad inlet resized at a rad shop to match the size of the LS1 you can use a '00 Camaro lower hose. With those two hoses the setup looks stock. I don't like those universal hoses if I can avoid them.
