Default Can't find a radiator

I'm putting an ls1 into a 69 Camaro to save money I'm using the stock rad. and fans. I have decieded I want a new rad. The one I have does not have a hole for the low coolant sensor(98 only?) My rad. shop keeps ordering one with the sensor, their supplier says this is the right rad. Napa has one in stock for an 00-02 car but it has the sensor hole. I found a used one ebay without the sensor for an 00-02 car. Can anyone tell me where they bought their rad. without the sensor? Thanks

I thought I read somewhere that the last few years of these cars didn't have a low coolant sensor. Maybe Napa doesn't bother to carry both versions to save space, and just uses the earlier one for either. Dumb question: does it come with the sensor in the radiator? If not, can you put one in or just plug the hole?

does it really matter if you have the sensor hole or not, you dont have to use it
