Default wierd question

need some help, i am swaping a 5.3 into my truck, but this question dosen't have to do with that. I am trying to fit my after market AC panel in my dash and I ran aross a probelm. the hole where my old ac controls use to be is too big and I need a flat panel or something to cover the hole with maybe 3inches by 6inches, roughly, anyway you guys have any ideas?

Polished aluminum always looks good, or if you are going for a more high tech look you could always make one out of carbon fiber. Since it is a flat panel it does not require a lot of expertise, and all you need is a mirror or piece of glass to use as a mold.

Another alternative is to use a piece of dark smoked plexi-glass or lexan(sp?)
