Default LS1 fuel pressure

I'm installing an LS1 in my 94 Z. I know the LS1 f-bodys had the fuel pressure reg in the tank. And I know that regular fuel pressure is 60psi. Does the fuel pressure remain 60psi at all times, or is it regulated by a vacum source from the engine like most other cars.

You need an electric pump like an MSD 2225 (about $90.00), which pumps to a '99 Corvette Fuel Filter/regulator (NAPA FIL3737). The filter/regulator fuel output then goes to a one-line fuel rail at 55-60psi. Excess fuel pumped by the MSD returns to tank via third line on FIL3737. The pump / filter/regulator keeps the fuel rail at the required pressure. No vacuum regulation is used. The little doohickey on the fuel rail is a pulse damper.

Thats prety much what I was planning on doing (except I'm using the LT1 pump for now), I knew the Vette system was 58psi all the time but didn't know if the F-body system was the same.
