I've seen some with he m,mirrors with temperature in them, i believe some of the GMMG cars came with them. You can find them on ebay too, but they are expensive. They come out of a one of the SUV's.

I installed a mirror with temp, compass and the auto-dimming features in the 02.
It came out of a 01 Sierra, I believe.

I'll get some pics up in a bit, if you want.

Here you go, took them about 10 minutes ago.

It's the Gentex 177 ... it came in a few SUVs and pick-ups.
I wired the auto-dimming feature so I can turn it on/off with a switch.
Sometimes it restricts your ability to see out the back.

The biggest problem besides the wiring when installing a mirror like this is you lose your front interior lights.
That's why you see a domelight/maplight on my headliner in the mirror in the first pic.

No, they don't. Some small company / individual makes and sells them. Very cool, but not mfg. by Valentine.

I have an autodimming, homelink, compass mirror in my GTO, paid $82 shipped on ebay.

The ones with the maplights are expensive to get on ebay, so i have not purchased one for the TA. Is that a maplight setup from a mustang? I purchased one to install on my TA, for this reason.

I did lose them, for about 15 minutes. But I installed the overhead unit from an Explorer.
It lights the car WAY better and looks like it belongs in the car.
Mirror with pigtail ($32) and the overhead light unit ($18) were well worth it.
