Default Blue Tinted mirror glass

Anybody know where you can buy the replacement mirrors for the 4th gen cars?? I mean the blue tinted mirrors.

I have found the regular kind, but I want the tinted ones again, I have been dealing with a cracked driver mirror since 6 months after I bought the car.

Let me know, thanks

I don't know if you will be able to get them, I have them aswell and it would suck to have to replace them. Have you gone to the dealership and had them look up your car by VIN then search the mirrors? If they can pull them up that way, grab the p/n and get it somewhere like gmpartsdirect.

my 97 came with them stock,

I have looked and nobody has just the glass, or at least the tinted, I dont want the plain glass, I think thats all the dealer has, and all they do is call up this glass company to cut one and install it.

I think I am gonna have to break down and buy the whole mirror

Same. Was there any reason to discontinue the tint? I personally love it.

Captainofiron: If you don't mind the wait, you can try to find someone in the FS forum that is parting out a '98 TA.

I'm not sure why they were discontinued, however they really do help with brights and all. I love em'.

Thats strange, from what I researched it was only available on early 98's and then the LT1's. Interesting

Aha! I wondered about this....my 97 has a blue drivers mirror, and a normal passenger mirror. The blue drives me nuts (mostly, because I never had a car with a blue mirror before.) I'd love to change one or the other...I'd prefer a normal driver side one. If anyone wants to swap their normal driver side for my blue driver side (I actually have 2 of them)....I'd swap in a heart beat.

no problem, as for the woman, get her an appointment to do her nails and her feet, that way she will be out of the house and if she does find out, you can say well you got your nails done, haha
