Default Help with Satelite Radio antenna.

I've searched, I've experimented, and I have yet to find a place where the antenna doesn't look bad that I can get good reception. Where do I put this antenna so I could get better reception?

I put mine on the back glass up at the top, it's XM and the antenna is barely noticable (dunno how big a Sirus antenna is) held down with double sided tape

Lift the dash pad up above the radio. Used double sided tape to stick it to the top of the heat/AC ducts. Good reception and no antenna in sight.

I ran the wire all the way thru the dash around the door to the rear past the speaker and then thru the wiring thing in the center of the roof and on into the rear deck. Then I found a good spot inside the deck at the left rear.

It works right thru the fiberglass deck lid. It was hard as hell getting the little plug end thru that rubber wireway. I started at the deck lid end.
It is a Sirius and the antennae is about 2 - 2 1/2 inches in diameter and a half inch thick. The satellite output (fm) goes thru some kind of adapter on the car antennae wire and the hot lead I soldered into the cigarette lighter wire (or some other hot lead that goes off with the key), not sure which one since I also did this to my 4Runner.

I didn't even mount the Sirius Sportster plug-in thing, it just sits there on the ashtray.

I use the receiver in the house and in the other car too.

I have one more adapter that I have used in rental cars or other cars with a loose antennea and just plugged into the lighter. Then I just throw the antennae up on the dash.

I ran the wire from the head unit, under the glove box, up by the A pillar, then along the front of the windsheld. its in the center, inside the car. And a little bit of two sided tape, can't notice it at all. Thanks to GM's poor build quality, you can jam the wires into the gaps of dash, and windshield, with out seeing it.

I installed mine inside the hatch itself:

My antenna is installed underneath the windshield cowl on the passenger side (about 1-2 inches to the right of the vent screen, can't see it at all). Perfect reception most of the time unless I drive on roads with lots of trees.
