Got the car back from Synergy today and after tuning it put down 390hp@6400 and 380lbft@4800. Mods include comp 224/224 114 LSA, Pacesetter LTs, TSP catted Y, Flowmaster cat-back, K&N FIPK, 160* stat, MSD wires, and NGK TR55 plugs. I'm pleased with the results.

Those are good numbers!

I wanted a cam bigger than the 224 but if i can get numbers like that and still pass smog it looks like a win-win situation.

No cutout. And the numbers are actually 387.5/379 so I rounded up a bit. But the guy at Synergy said that my car dynoed slightly higher than cars with similar setups. We were both pleased. I have the dyno sheet here but I don't have a scanner. I can maybe ask the guy at Synergy to e-mail me one if you would like me to post it.

definitely nice numbers, especially with flowmaster !! everybody still underestimates those 224 cams.

She drives great! Haven't got a chance to open her up all the way but I can definetly feel a big difference. And there is no affect on driveability at all either, just a somewhat choppy idle which of course I love.

This thread gets me excited.

I have a very similiar combo that will be getting tuned next month.
2000 Camaro SS- A4-3.42 gears- 15k miles

TSP 228R cam -228/228-.588/.588 - 114 LSA
Comp 918 springs - TSP pushrods
SLP longtubes
No Cats
Flowmaster with quad tipped CME
SLP underdrive pully
LID
LS6 intake manifold
NGK iridium plugs

AND Harris Speed Works 150 shot with FJO progressive controller

Will be installed before tune:
Smooth Bellows and Ported TB

I am hoping for at least 385 rwhp before the nitrous and I would love to see this car hit 530-540rwhp on the spray (reason for 114 LSA).

I was worried about the Flowmaster eating some power, but after seeing you put down 388rwhp, I am not worried about it. I know the auto makes a diff in rwhp but I figure I'll do the extra mods and get a bit more power.

Being that my cam is bigger (slightly) than the one you have, and I have U/D pully, no cats, LS6 intake etc. I think I should see similiar/ better #'s than that. That gets me extremely excited. If this thing puts out 395-400 rwhp I will lose it - stoked.

Anyway, congrats on the #'s, and thanks for getting me excited about my upcoming tune, I like to see combos similiar to mine putting down good numbers.

Nice results. It is interesting to compare the camshaft results in terms of HP peak RPM. I was at Synergy last Thursday getting my car tuned. With Edelbrock heads and a 215/220 on a 112LSA @ .050 with .590/.588, headers and high flow cats I got 380RWH @ 5400 RPM and 390 ft-lbs @ 4800. Running an A4 with 3.73:1
