Default Intermediate pipe

I'm hoping someone could give me their opinion or some H.P. numbers on stock 2 3/4 cat-back system vs. Hooker 3" system. My car now has empty cats, SLP y-pipe and Flo-Pro muffler with stock intermediate pipe. I think it sounds pretty good (esp. since gutting cats) the way it is, but is the small pipe still robbing me of much H.P. Would it be worth getting the Hooker system (about $350 shipped)? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

I don't think you'll gain much of anything performance-wise with the Hooker. Swapping out the stifling stock Z28 exhaust for the Hooker catback only gave me 10rwhp. It sounds great though.

most aftermarket catbacks are about the same
youll only see a few HP #s between each setup
but by rule of thumb ----> more flow = more power
but u never know
