Default Clutch masters

I noticed on the Clutch poll...
No one was running the Clutchmasters. I also do not see anyone saying they are running it.

Any particular reason other than it is a bit pricey? The price is not as bad when you look at you get the complete kit, just curious.

A shop is putting one in my 02 SS. I'm running with the stage 3. I hear it should be better than the ls6 clutch I had in it stock. I can't wait to get it back. I haven't heard of any other f-bodies with it either, but I'll keep you posted.

They have good rep on other boards think the import boards you hear about them a lot. I am considering one of their twin discs in my 97 talon.

stg 3 in 99SS: cam + boltons, 4,10s, nittos here.

nice feel no chatter ever and takes a lickin & no slipping.

*check cover bolt holes before installing though..2 were drilled undersize*

I've got 20K on mine, has lasted much farther than my LS6 clutch (9k or so) and RAM 980 setup (9k). Easy to drive and really holds. stage 3 here.

Ok,
Thanks guys. I know a buddy that has it in his Twin Turbo 98 Camaro and he loves it and says it holds great..... but I don't think he pushes it very hard.. haha.

I am thinking about going clutchmasters or LS7. But was curious why I did not see anything about them.

I will let you guys know which way I go. it will be a little while before I order, but mine is completely gone now. I went to move her out of the garage this weekend and had zero luck getting it into any gear while running.
