Default would stock ls7 lifters hold up to this cam?

trying to figure out a "lack of suffecient pull" that occures in my procharged camaro from 5800 and up:

i have a set of prc double springs on my heads and a .655 lift and 266 duration cam, could this be causing the stock ls7 lifters to collapse?

What springs do you plan on using? What intake/Exhaust Valves.

Overall valve train weight is what is going to determine what lifters are needed.

.655 lift is to much even for the extreme springs out there now. Also most of the factory lifters really won;t tolerate that much lift either. Could be a whole host of issues present with the valve train.

There are other springs available other than the Patriot or PRC Springs that fit in the stock spring pocket and can handle 650+ life one example is the AFR 8019's.

The lifter can handle as much lift as you can throw at it as long as the you have the proper parts. Spring Seat Pressure and open pressure is going to determine if the lifter is going to collapse or not.

If you are Running a Titanium Valve, with a light spring, proper pre-load, the proper length pushrod you can use a hydraulic lifter no problem.

If you start mismatching components like a Heavy Stock valve, 500+ open pressure spring and stock ls1 lifters yeah your are going to destroy the lifter.

I've been running .650+ lift with stock lifters and 8019 springs on a few different engines with no problems. They are or were all daily drivers and all are working just fine, and make power well above 5,800 rpm.

It looks like the springs are maxed out and under boost they will not hold the valve under high rpm. Not that they are a bad spring, they are just not enough to handle the boost and rpm. If the spring can't control the valve it will start to float and you will lose cylinder pressure. You see this same deal in the Buick turbo cars with tired springs. Like Alex stated, if you get lighter valves and valve train it will help cure the problem.
