LS1 EDIT VERSES AUTO TAP WITCH ONE IS THE MORE BANG FOR THE BUCK. FROM WHAT I READ BOTH PLUG INTO THE OBD ll AND YOU ARE ABLE TO ALTER YOUR COMPUTER.

Re: LS1 EDIT VERSES AUTO TAP I'm no expert on either but here it goes. Auto tap gives you diagnostic information on your car which is good to see where your problem areas are but you cannot make any changes with it. LS1 edit allows you to make major changes to your PCM but you need autotap to see how these changes are working. Basically, autotap = diagnostics and LS1 edit = computer changes. The ideal setup is to have the 2 of them, but that is costly.
