Default break rotors

im a newbi at breaks and i no this is a dumb question but i dont no which way the slots are supposed to be on my rotors i have where the slot begins at the top of the rotor goin foward downward if that makes sense or i could really use a picture of the right way they should be

They should follow the treading from the tires.

The slots should direct any gas/dust to the edge of the rotor. As that is the natural direction the centerfugal force will take it, the slots are helping it on its way.

So picture the way the rotor will turn, even put it on and spin it the correct direction to verify.
