final touches for the power tour
the last month has been crazy...on top of my truck getting jacked and the home remodeling, i've been busy getting my 98z28 ready to roll 2600 miles on the power tour. in the last few week i've added the following to get it road trip ready:
-moser 9" from scott @ dls
-double adj lcas from sjm
-1/2" rear spacers to add some clearance (it actually gives it a cool raked look too)
-aeroforce interceptor gauge(thanks to matt@newera for the quick shipping)
-pioneer cd/mp3 player
-alpine s-type speakers for the front
-autotrix passenger window mod(my buddy thats going with me will appreciate that, i don't have a/c
-starter heat shield, expansion plug for an intake vacuum leak, am\nd the oil change should be going down tomorrow.
some pics tonight, sorry for the quality the sun was heading out:
i'm really diggin' the interceptor gauge:
i cut some aluminum into a 2 1/4" x 4 7/16" piece and had a toolmaker at work machine out the hole for the gauge.....then i welded two tabs with holes to the back and bolted it to the bezel.
feel free to yell at me if you see me on the tour, i just got a new haircut so look for a sketchy-looking dude with a mohawk
