Default gmpp ls6 heads

was wondering if these heads are any good? cnc ported 60cc heads or the 65cc heads? they say with the asa cam near 500hp is possible? is that at the flywheel or wheels?

that's gotta be crank power...

it take a pretty big cam and set of heads to hit 500rwhp on a stock cube ls1 engine.

im going to say its at the flywheel. but there are alot of guys getting 420+ rwhp just out of a good tuned 224 cam. add a set of AFR 205 heads and you have close to 500rwhp. i dont hear to many people going with LS6 heads though.

Wow, 80 rwhp with a set of heads,

Not even close. MAYBE 50, but not 80, at least on stock cubes

I don't know that ALOT of guys are getting that much... I think a handful get over 400 with full bolt ons. 500rwhp on heads cam is next to impossible. The guys at Katech built a heads/cam car that made that much, but it also idles at 2,000 rpm. Tradeoffs buddy. If you really want 500 rwhp, start looking at forced induction.

I have the GM Performace 60cc heads. With a 224-228 cam it ran 118 to 120 MPR in the 1320. I guess that's not bad HP for a small cam/head car.
