I've seen that a couple times, but that is STILL DAMN impressive!

Damn good pilot too! I'm an aero junky! aka Plane ****! Even tho the 22 rules the sky, that F15 is still badass in my book!

Now that was amazing.... the A-10 is capable of the same feat. Supposedly it can loose over 50% of its wing surface and still fly.

I used to maintain F-14s and we had two of ours actually do a mid air collision and ripped half the wings off of both of the aircraft. One of them had the box beam bend forward a couple of degrees. The one aircraft that had the box beam bent was sent to depot to get fixed, the other was scraped. both planes made it home safe thou.

I am always amazed at our planes getting shot to hell like this and still being able to fly back. Absolutly amazing!

No, he just landed at near 260 knots. (double the normal landing speed) The fuselage of the F-15 generates a ****-ton of lift (lifting body)

I would have **** after I got out of my aircraft and saw that.

In 96' two VFC-12 (Omars) F-18's had a midair and were both torn to **** and both made it home safely. When you see the pictures it makes you appreciate the survivability of the aricraft.
