problem with 5th gear

problem with 5th gear car wont go into 5th all the time, sometimes it will others it grinds and wont go in, does anyone know what could be wrong, thanks

mine would do the exact same thing. i had synchronizers going out. i also had a bent shift fork and the main shaft was stripped a little. i would say it is the sychros though.
