Default good news?

Hopefully it's good news for me that my buddies brand new 04 (2k miles) cobra only beats my stock firehawk by a car length from a 45 roll, and eventually from a dead stop. This means that i wouldn't have to do MUCH to keep up, right? I'm planning on doing Kooks 1 3/4 LT headers and Y soon, dumping it out of a cutout, and after that Intake and Subframe connectors then a stronger torque arm, Anyone have any thoughts on how this plan is? 99 firehawk 83K miles, SLP Dual/Dual, Lid.. and a cutout oh and a recently discovered LS6 intake manifold.

You need to ask in the LS1 forum, but if it's a supercharged Cobra, then yea that's pretty good

is this a M^ or A4 car? if M6 then yes the long tubes and exhaust work will now let you beat him but if it's an A4 car then get a Yank stall and the headers and whoop his *** real good!

maybe you lost because the car is in Midland, haha just kidding, Im from Odessa.

but yea 04 boosted Cobra's are pretty quick, good job, with those headers and bigger intake you should be able to keep up if not stomp him

From 93-02 Cobras are 5 speeds, and 03-04 Cobras are 6 speeds.

Reverse is a Gear. . . . >_> lol

Back in my ignorant years, I thought that's how they defined a cars tranny. a 6spd was 5 forward 1 reverse.
