Dunno...have you done anything with the coil packs/wires lately? I'd make sure the connector is tight. www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic9357.php has more info.

connector/s is as tight as it can get but i do however notice change in idle and exhaust note as i pull at the wire harness that connects to the coil pack assembly. i tried pulling and wiggling individual wires from the connector but nothing is consistant..

seems that when i move around the entire group of wires all bundled up is when i can notice change in the idle andf exhaust note. i tried swapping in a different se to of coil packs that worked when i pulled them out and there was no difference...leaves me thinking it must be a wire or connection somewhere but im looking everywhere and i cant seem to find anything loose/broken

ok well all i can think of that i did was i went to test the coilpack connector to see which wire is constant positive and in order to get any reading i had to disconnect the connector while the key is turned on to power everything but the motor. and i then connected it back. then i went to start the car and all this **** started happening.i dont know how that could have done anything? anyone have any ideas?

anyone? i really dont want to have to bring this to a stealership or any mechanics...i like doing my own work. is it possible to have fried some circuit in the pcm from maybe shorting out when i unplugged the coil pack connector while key was turned in accessory mode?
