Hey nick I had a fimilar problem but I would only leak a tiny bit, I actually found out that my crank sensor plug had a bad o-ring, so i replaced that and it was all good as new. Did you put a tiny bit of new oil around the rubber lip of the oil filter? What filter are you using? FYI you also have a cast iron block with alummium heads so in natural actions alummium expands(changes shape) I believe twice(maybe more?) as fast a cast iron does. Some people say LT1 will more than likely always leak a little bit, keep checking it every couple of days and see if it starts to leak more or if it stays about the same, if you want me to I can take a look at in sometime.

Are all your oil pan bolts tight? If you do end up changing out the oil pan seal I can help. Hopefully it is a easy fix.

Here is a couple pics to show you where that crank sensor plug is located.

1) You take out that bolt and the sensor plug comes out too, there will be a very small o-ring on the sensor plug
2) This is a picture to show you where it is located at, this location would be right under your hermoice blanacer pully, almost right in front of your rack and pioion. Hopefully this helps, let me know if you need help (402)-525-1416

Its leaking from the back of the intake. Its a real common LT1 thing, and if you run synthetic in that thing, its prolly gunna leak out More.
