How much of a difference? Try using a better oil, like some GC 0W30

Like i said, try using some GC 0W30 and a OEM filter. If your oil pressure is still low, it might be the oil pump going out on you.

Just remember, its getting warm out, and oil gets thinner with hotter engine temps. And your oil pressure will also drop at idle with the AC on.

I grt like 20 psi with the motor warm idling in D, your pressure is good. I can't wait to swap in the ported LS6 oil pump that i've got.

you should have right around 40 psi at warm idle, and it should climb with rpms, 20 psi is not good like staringback05 said.

I picked some GC 0-30 at autozone in Alexandria, Va. Not too far from Sterling if you're really looking for some.

They actually sell it at a smaller privatley-owned auto parts store where a buddy of mine works. But thanks for the offer

if that doesnt work...try gettin a new sending unit first....easier to fix than the pump itself

I agree, mine is 40psi when warm in idle, if driving- around 55-60, 20psi not good

mine hover right around 60 while driving. I have a ported pump from texas speed though. It may have been bumped up.
