Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Ive had an ugly *** circle with tiny cuts all in the paint from getting egged a while back and i was wondering if there was any way i would be able to get these out of my paint without having repaint the whole entire door?

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Eggs are one of those things that can do some real good damage to the paint. Chances are you are going to have to get the door repainted.
My car got with an egg over the winter, but luckily it hit that plastic triangular piece behind the passenger window, all I had to do was replace that.

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? I'm pretty sure you need to get it repainted. My friend's brand new M3 got hit with an egg the very first day and it striaght out ate through the paint. Sorry bud.

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? You COULD go through your insurance company and claim it as vandalism, but I'm pretty sure your deductible would be more than it would actually cost to repair it yourself.

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? It pretty much just cut the paint and ive had it touched up, but a buddy of mine thinks he can do it without hitting the whole door with some paint, so i guess ill give that a shot

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Find the person that did it, kick his ***, and take his wallet. Then you can get your door repainted. Sorry to say but eggs and bologna really mess up the paint.

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Im not sure how the bolonga messes the paint up, but my friends car was bolongad, and his paint was screwed. It looked horrible and he had a clear coat. We waxed it several times but it did no good.

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Had the same thing happen to my car. Passenger side front quater panel. Little chips in the shape of a circle, not much u can do about it. Probably have to get it repainted

Re: Removing an Egg hit from my door???? Trust me its an eyesore im just glad i atleast have a NBM car cause it doesnt show that well but when u know where it is u look at it everyday and cry. but yea i guess im lookin at a major $$$ hit. Oh well.
