Default PCM HELP ASAP 98to99

can you convert a 98 pcm to a 99 is it a direct plug in i herd the prossesor is twice as fast let me know because i might need to change a tuner order if this will work

my friend took my 99pcm and runs '02 hp tuners on it, if it helps any...

The connectors plug in, but the pin out is different. You have to swap several wires around in the connectors.

You have to switch the wires around but it can be done.

Sevral = ~ 153/160 pins. Then there is the fuel indication, if you are using EFI Live you can correct it with the software. Bottom line, this is not a plug and play type situation. Lot's of folks (not necessarily in this thread)reguratating (false) info on this subject, very few with actual hands on experience and success. It can be done and is well worth the effort.
