Street Racing & Kill Stories - Another SRT8 vs LS1 thread!

Heading down the interstate one night lookin for a fight i see what looks like a WS6 getting on the interstate heading the opposite direction, sounded pretty good from where i was. I get off the exit, go over the interstate and try to track the guy down. Finally catch up to him a few miles down the road, the car sounded freakin bad. I get up next to him at about 60 and i hear him downshift, soon as i hear him get back on the gas, i hit it. He does the same almost immidiately. We stay even from about 60 to somewhere over 100, then he starts to pull on me pretty good and when he gets to about half a car ahead, he even does the gas pat on me. lol

We slowed down and i rolled down my window and he through the thumbs up and i waved back!

Great race and an even better sounding car!

On a side note, i was at moms house the other day and she was blocking me in when i got ready to leave. I got in her car and cranked it up. I put a borla catback on it a few years ago for her b-day! I revved it a few times, moved it, went back inside and told her i didn't like her, or her car at the moment. She asks why? I just tell her, "cause, it doesn't matter how fast my car is or how good it sounds, it will never sound like a LS1!" she just laughed and said that mine wasn't suppose to sound as good as her car. lol gotta love that woman!

Thanks, it's bad when you respect all kinds of vehicles and even have an fbody in the family and people are still pricks.. guess there are some in every crowd.
