UMI SFC Weld in or bolt on? im curious to find out how much better (if any) are the weld on sub frame connectors than the bolt on type? i dont have a prob welding them to my car but im just worried that once there welded on i might not like the feel of them! all you guys that welded them on have you had any regrets? thanks alot!!!

Umi bolt in SFC Hey bud it states in their website that the bolt in SFC's (3 point) can be welded in at any time, i would go with the bolt in for now, then add the rear torque arm that mounts away from the tranny w/drive shaft loop b/c it bolts up where the SFC ( 3 point) bolt in the same location,
just check out the pics of the torque arms, i am pretty sure there is SFC bolted on in those pics, and you will see what i am talking about.
i like bolt in stuff b/c just in case i have to pull S#$T apart after something else fails.

the only difference between the weld-ins and bolt-ins (as far as i can tell from the pictures) is that the bolt-ins come with holes punched in the mounting plates for the bolts to go through, and they naturally come with the bolts needed to bolt them in.....and then the extra price increase for having to stamp the holes and provide the mounting hardware.
but yes.....if you are worried that you might not like them, buy the bolt-ins and try them out first....if you don't like them, pull them off and sell them to someone else. if you do like them, have them welded permanently. easy.
