rough idle with AC on

Default rough idle with AC on

ive got a 99 ss and it has a cam and full bolt ons, when i turn the ac on it feels like it is running very rough at idle, and when i turn it off it clears up, does any one know why it does this, thanks.

What size cam?

The A/C will cause changes in RPM's because the A/C will screw around with the HP that the engine is capable of.

It's known that having the A/C on will effect engine performance.

its a cartech x3 not sure of what size it is.

Its gonna feel that way because there is more strain on the engine. My car does the same thing. Raising the idle via the tune while the a/c is on whill help the problem.

it really isnt that but but it is noticeable, i dont think im gonna worry about it, thanks for the help guys.
